Livigno
Livigno, the little Italian Tibet, nestled between the Alps and the Swiss Lombard is a popular summer and winter tourist.
The territory stretches along a wide valley in which the river Spol then going to throw the Inn a few kilometers after the village. The valley is thus part of the catchment area of the Danube / Black Sea, one of the few Italian places to have this peculiarity.
The village center is located at an altitude of 1816 meters and this makes Livigno a perfect destination for cooling off during the hot season (temperatures in July / August to reach the maximum 25/28 degrees) is to train the air poorer oxygen.
On the bottom of the country there is a long artificial lake created by the Swiss in the 60 to produce electricity. For several years in summer this lake became navigable by motorized means not hired on the spot.
