Castello dell'acqua
Water Castle is located on the slope of the Valtellina Orobie media, at the foot of Pizzo Coca (3052 meters) and Pizzo del Diavolo (2926 meters) and is bordered to the east by Val Malgina and west from Armisa stream, it counts 660 inhabitants. Thanks to the favorable orographic position, the settlements have settled in several districts connected to each other by good roads and a dense network of trails along which you can find fragments of rural life and rediscover ancient traditions of farming.
Mills, batteries, a forge, religious frescoes, rural huts, chestnut forests and natural landscapes form the framework that guides the visitor in the tranquility of this area. The municipality, in the vicinity of the river Adda is crossed by the Valtellina path road pedestrian loop that runs along the entire route of the river to Lake Como.
